EVROVIZION is a traveling exhibition project by ifa – the Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations, presented in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Bulgaria and Doza Gallery. After its presentation at Sofia Art Week 2025, the project was expanded to include additional works, among them a new performance by Ivana Ivković developed in close collaboration with local participants in Varna, as well as newly produced works shown for the first time.
The title of the exhibition, EVROVIZION, is a lexical construct built from similar yet distinct languages – Eurovisione / Evrovizija / Евровизия – denoting a fusion of potential unities, a free version of a possible togetherness. The aim of the exhibition is to reflect diverse histories and spaces and to make specific local impulses visible through interdisciplinary, classical, and intermedia works of art. In close collaboration with regional participants and local art scenes, new artworks are added to the exhibition as it travels.
