We are pleased to invite you to the opening of the group exhibition A Museum Yet to Be at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro in Podgorica, featuring works by Saša Tkačenko and Šejla Kamerić.A Museum Yet to Be is an international exhibition that rethinks museums as fluid, changeable spaces that reflect and respond the restless currents of contemporary society.
Opening: 11 December, 2025, at 7 PM.

In the midst of current political divisions, ongoing violence, and shifting socio-economic circumstances, the exhibition calls for reflection on the ethical dimensions and frequently questioned standards of institutional integrity, illuminating paths that remain hidden or forgotten.
Presenting international contemporary artists, the exhibition transforms the museum into a meeting space—a contact zone where meanings are reshaped, values redefined, and ethical visions of the future imagined. The artists participating in the exhibition interrupt established institutional perspectives, question dominant historical narratives, and redefine exhibition practices within contested space as acts of renewal.
