Sightseeing
Kalamegdan Fortress – Musst see!
The Fortress is the founding of Belgrade. UNESCO World Cultural Heritage – without fences, used like a park with great view to Sava and Danube River. Inside is the Zoo. It’s not animal friendly but certainly a Zoo where you get the closest to some of the animals.
Bajloni or Kalenić – Green markets: very nice!
Skadarlija street – cute street with many restaurants.
Belgrade by bike: discover Belgrade.
Especially in nice weather that’s great.
Effortless but you’d see a bit more of Belgrade, Zemun and New Belgrade.
With some really nice architecture and maybe even a swim on the way.
Free guided tours in the center of Belgrade
(expecting tip – about 800 Dinar/Person)
Good to get a bit of Belgrade and some interesting stories…
Some walks in the center:
Bit of shopping Kralja Petra street / Cara Lazara
or a bit hidden:
Belgrade Design District
