Kenny Schachter talks all things relevant to your art journey, with the goal of helping emerging artists, students, and art lovers alike.
On Monday, November 10th at 6 PM, we invite you to our gallery space for a lecture by Schachter (b.1961, US), whose work has been shaking the global art scene for over three decades.

Kenny Schachter is a New York–based curator, writer, artist, collector, and educator with over 30 years of experience in contemporary art. He teaches in the graduate department at the University of Zurich and holds professorships at the School of Visual Arts and New York University. Schachter has lectured internationally and received a Rockefeller-supported grant in Mexico. He regularly writes for ArtNet and has contributed to publications on Paul Thek, Zaha Hadid, Vito Acconci, and Sigmar Polke/Gerhard Richter.
In recent years, he presented Slow Food (2023) at The NFT Gallery, New York, curated Keep Hope Alive (2023–2024) at the Francisco Carolinum Museum, Austria, showcased his sculptures in I Object! (2024) at the Pacific Design Center Gallery, Los Angeles, and participated in Phone Face (2024) at Galerie Nagel Draxler, Cologne. Earlier highlights include Retrospective (2018) at Joel Mesler’s Rental Gallery, New York, Trading Places (2018) at Simon Lee Gallery, London, a solo exhibition at Kantor Gallery, Los Angeles (2019), and projects at Blum & Poe, Tokyo (2017), and Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac, Paris (2016)…His writings include The NFT Book: Everything You Need to Know about the Art and Collecting of Non-Fungible Tokens (2023), Tracey Emin: Detail of Love (2020),Art becomes Architecture becomes Art (2006), Jasper Who? (2003)…as well as numerous articles for The New York Times, Frieze, Artforum, ArtNet, etc.
